From the moment that it first opened its doors on the 5th October 1996, The Lemon Tree has been firmly established as Bishops Stortford's favourite restaurant. The culinary skills of chef Luke Fishpool and the front-of-house flair and expertise of Sue Fishpool have helped The Lemon Tree gain listings in the Michelin and Good Food Guides, giving the restaurant premier status in the town and surrounding area.
A special 7LT menu is available for lunch and is also served in the courtyard during the summer months so you can enjoy good food al fresco.
Situated in charming period buildings in central Bishop’s Stortford, the Lemon Tree has seating for 66 people in the main restaurant, for 24 in the private dining room and we can accommodate a further 20 in the Courtyard. Versatile self-contained areas within The Lemon Tree ensure privacy for private dining and business or social events.
