Here at The Lemon Tree, our Head Chef Luke has been busy designing the following menu for Christmas 2017. Debbie has been getting her bookings folder ready, and taking the first wave of party bookings, whilst Michelle and Harry have been planning the drinks orders... as well as ordering in the crackers!

We're hoping to make Christmas 2017 the best one yet - please don't hesitate to get in touch to make a booking. 

 

 

Goujons of plaice with tartare sauce

Curried parsnip soup with parsnip crisps

Slow cooked chorizo & tomatoes & crispy pork belly

Smashed avocado with chargrilled vegetables, chilli & lime dressing

Smoked salmon gateau with pickled cucumber, ginger & citrus segments

 

 

Fillet of hake with button mushroom stroganoff

Roast turkey, pigs-in-blankets, stuffing & cranberry jus

Confit of duck with braised red cabbage & peppercorn sauce

Grilled goat’s cheese on toasted walnut bread, roast beetroot & lentils

Aged sirloin steak, grilled tomatoes, shallot & mustard butter, fries (£5 supplement)

 

Roast winter vegetables

Brussel sprouts & sugar brown potatoes

 

 

Christmas pudding with brandy sauce

Yule log with praline ice cream & cherries

Apple and sultana strudel with vanilla ice cream

Blood orange crème brulee with burnt white chocolate

A selection of three artisan cheeses served with artisan crackers & chutney

 

 

 

Tea or filter coffee

Mini mince pies

Popping candy chocolate truffles

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christmas Menu Terms and Conditions

 

A deposit of £10 per person is required for all bookings on the Christmas menu. Deposits may be paid by card, cheque, cash or BACS.

 

Final party numbers are required to be confirmed no later than one week prior to the date of the booking. Deposits are unable to be returned after this time.

 

For bookings of seven people or under - orders may be taken on the day.

For bookings of eight and over - pre-order is required at least one week prior to the date of booking.

 

Dietary requirements can be catered for if the Restaurant is notified at least one week prior to the date of the booking.

 

Wines may be pre-ordered with the Restaurant for large parties. Contact the Restaurant for a wine list and recommendations.

 

An optional 10% service charge will be added to the bill
